Throughout June, BB&A tracked the selection process for the next Director of the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD). We will continue monitoring the appointment. BB&A also continued meeting with legislators to discuss transportation funding priorities for the 2027 legislative session.

As Idaho enters the new fiscal year on July 1, the 2026 infrastructure appropriations bill provides $12.8 million in state general funds for the Local Highway Distribution Account while reflecting an overall reduction in state-level transportation funding compared to the previous fiscal year.
